Make a Life you Love

Picture
How do you bridge the gap between where you are now and where you imagine your life could be?

Getting from the mundane here to the sparkly there can seem like an impossible journey, especially if you're already feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, and maybe without much faith that you have what it takes.

I get it. I've been there.

My instinct when I'm feeling all of the above is to hunker down and try to go it alone.

But that old, familiar pattern doesn't work. It never did.

I've learned that to truly create a lovely life, I need to ask for help. I lean on my chiropractor to help me keep going physically (and she also gives great advice on what to do with my teenagers); my massage therapist to soften the physical and energetic blocks that keep me feeling stuck; my hair stylist/style consultant who reminds me that feeling good on the outside often helps me to feel better on the inside, too; and my life coach to help me tdiscover how I'm standing in my own way and what to do to keep moving forward.

It takes a team to make a life you love.

I'd like to be on yours.

Join me in a 12-week program (six one-on-one bi-weekly sessions with me plus support in between appointments) during which we'll work together to adjust your perspective, nurture you as you grow from shaky to strong, cheer your successes, and use your missteps as valuable lessons from which to learn.

“You change my life for the better every time I talk to you.”

What We'll Do Together
Picture
Create the life you desire using proven ideas, resources, and tools. You’ll be expertly guided through six one-on-one bi-weekly sessions with me, a certified life coach and mommy mentor, and the the author of the book, The Well-Crafted Mom: A Do-It-Yourself Guide for Making a Life You Love.

Get clear on who you are and what you most desire. You’ll have access to questionnaires to learn more about who you are, the best way for you to build new habits, and understand what’s most important for you. The work we do together is based on what’s ideal for you – and only you – not a one-size-fits-most plan that doesn’t take your individuality into account.

Work through the obstacles that are in your way. Sometimes the obstacles are external, like not having enough time for all that needs to be done before there's actually time for yourself. Often, though, the obstacles come from within, like not being able to say no to requests for your time, believing your mean thoughts about yourself, or not trusting that you have what it takes to make the next move, break free of what's keeping you stuck, and welcome what you truly desire. You'll learn to manage your inner and outer obstacles using smart self-coaching tools that you'll have in your tool belt forever.

"Kathleen can articulate and turn around any feelings into your highest good. Her energy is magical and she possesses an amazing intellect, a bountiful bag of tools, and a guidance that is like no other. My life has changed in the best way because of her compassion and amazing skills. Thank you Kathleen for the beautiful sessions and my four-year-old thanks you for the peaceful mom at home."

Your Commitment
It’s so hard to think about adding more meetings, more to do’s, more of anything when you’re already feeling so overloaded. This coaching program is built for busy moms and the homework is streamlined for you to get the most out of every minute.

Your six coaching sessions last 60 minutes and can be scheduled either in person at my San Mateo office, held via video conferencing, or even by phone if you'd like.

We'll celebrate your successes  – and there will be many, I promise – but you'll learn the most when things don't go your way, when you make a mistake, when practicing a new self-coaching tool doesn't work quite right. That's why I'll encourage you to check in between our scheduled bi-weekly sessions so that we can use the misstep, mistake, or misunderstanding as an opportunity to learn and grow.

You'll have a bit of homework after each session. Most of your homework will be about noticing, like ...
• Noticing what makes you feel happy, frustrated, resentful, at peace;
• Noticing what happens when you say yes to a commitment when you really meant to say no;
• Noticing how little changes in your habits, thinking, and language add up to big changes in your mood and circumstances, and allow you to fall in love with your life.

You'll be supported, encouraged, and inspired as you take small steps to make big changes in how you feel, how you think, and how you live – and love – your life.
