Coaching + Crafts Mini-Retreats

The Well-Crafted Moms gathering meets at Kathleen Harper’s home in the 25th Avenue neighborhood of San Mateo. The group is kept deliberately small to create a close community of moms and a fun, hands-on learning opportunity. We go deep with each month’s theme, drawing from our own experiences and learning new self-coaching tools for managing the beautiful mess of motherhood.

Come to rest, relax, and renew. You'll head home happier.

I'm currently taking a break from the Coaching + Crafts Mini-Retreats.
Please click here to be one of the first to know when they return.

"I enjoy the mother's groups because there is a real sense of community and support to every group. I always walk away with some new insight about myself and my life."
Aubri Tallent, mom of two and author of
Little Bear Sees

"The mothers’ groups are a safe place to share my fears and frustrations, knowing that no one will judge me. All the other moms in the group are very compassionate and supportive of each other. It’s a wonderful, calming, peaceful sanctuary. Kathleen makes everyone feel welcome and her insights and tips are invaluable."
JM, Menlo Park

Are You On the Fence About REgistering?

If you’ve been on the fence about coming because …

Concern #1: You’re nervous about talking in front of other moms.
“Newbies” to the group are warmly welcomed and no one ever has to share if she doesn’t want to. It's not uncommon for a mom to "pass" on sharing her story.

Concern #2: You’re self-conscious about the crafts part because you’re not an artist.
• We can relate: self-consciousness is something we all feel.
• As the facilitator of the group, I create a safe environment to play and explore which draws in lovely people who prefer not to judge others.
• The craft is about having fun and crafting something that links both sides of your brain so it's easier for you to integrate what you've learned when you're back in your day-to-day routines. It's also about experiencing that amazing feeling of getting to start and finish a project all in one sitting (and how often does that happen with little kids around?)

Concern #3: You feel guilty leaving the kids because it feels not fair to your spouse.
I hear all the time that spouses love it when their wives come to the group because moms head home happier and more patient (and very appreciative).

Send me an email if you have any questions!
Hugs,
Kathleen
